Marketing Face Time
Sometimes marketing needs a little face time, especially in an age where most of us spend our days in front of a screen. You can’t underestimate the power of interacting with your audience in person. For this reason, a lunch and learn can be an excellent marketing tool.
Think of your knowledge, expertise and experience as an asset and leverage it. What do you know that could help others? Start a list and consider what is valuable to your audience. What do you know that they could benefit from knowing?
Getting in front of people in an informal setting gives you the chance to find out vital information like:
- Your audiences’ current pain points
- What they are most interested in knowing
- What ideas excite them
You’re not just getting and giving information, you are developing rapport and giving your audience a firsthand taste of who you are—something that can’t be as effectively communicated through other forms of content.
